Odnowiony Świecznik // Candle Make Over

Uwielbiam świeczki. To migające światełko widoczne w ciemnym pokoju, albo obecne na moim stoliku w restauracji. Uwielbiam :)

Mam wiele świeczników, ale niektórymi jestem już znudzona (mam je od lat). Zdecydowałam, że trzeba coś z tym zrobić! Zobaczyłam podobny projekt w mojej ulubionej restauracyjce i stwierdziłam, że chcę mieć cząstkę tego klimatu w domu.

Czego potrzebujesz:

• stary świecznik

• brązowy lub biały pergamin (możesz użyć papieru śniadaniowego)

• nożyczki

• taśma klejąca dwustronna

• teelight

Przygotowanie:

1. Weź pergamin i połóż na nim swój świecznik – określ wysokość pergaminu i przytnij według tej linii (mój pergamin jest ok. dwa razy wyższy niż świecznik).

2. Owiń świecznik pergaminem lub zmierz jego obwód przy pomocy miarki (możesz użyć do tego nitki, którą później zmierzysz za pomocą linijki).
3. Jedną z krawędzi poprzycinaj w małe trójkąciki.
4. Owiń świecznik pergaminem i sklej krawędzie za pomocą dwustronnej taśmy klejącej.
5. Przewiąż świecznik wstążką lub inną ozdobą.

6. W środku umieść tealight i zapal :)

I love candles. This flickering light in dark room or on the table of the restaurant. I love it!

As all girls, I have many candles but I am bored with some of them (as having them for years now). So I decided to do something with that! Make-over! I saw similar idea in my favorite restaurant and though I could bring a little piece of restaurant atmosphere into my little house too.

If you are bored with your old candles, let’s make it brand new!

 You need:

• your old candle – I used ceramic sphere candle holder with teelight

• brown or white parchment (you can use a breakfast paper)

• scissors

• double-sided tape

• decorative ribbons or other

How to make:

1. Take parchment and lay your candle holder on it to choose how height above your candle should parchment extend. Cut out a strip (I made it about twice the height of ceramic sphere).
2. Roll out your candle holder on the parchment to measure strip length (for that you can also use a thread and then check the length on the ruler).
3. Cutout zigzag along one of the strip edge.
4. Wrap your candle holder with the parchment and stick the edges with double-sided tape.
5. Put some ribbon or any other decoration around your new candle.
6. Place in the tealight and light it :)
